Ursula Lee Brown

Ursula Lee Brown, 52, of Verdunville, departed this life Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center after battling a long and courageous fight with Lung Cancer. Born June 23, 1966 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Shelvia Toler Brown and the late Hershell Brown. Ursula was a caretaker and a member of the 5&6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her Grandparents; one great niece, Alexis Faith Rakes. Survivors include her husband, David Boothe; one son, Cory (Alex) Brown; one brother, Hershell Brown Jr.; three sisters, Beverly Brown, Ronika (Danny) Hall, and Shelia (Rex) Conley; three step sisters, Becky, Lisa, and Nikki; one grandson, Keaton Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family which she loved very dearly. Services will be 2:00pm. Saturday, June 15, at 5&6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church with pastor Larry Light officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for family and from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm at the church. Collins Funeral Home oversees the arrangements.
