Tim Frye, 45, of Rossmore, WV passed away at his home on Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was born March 10, 1980, in Logan, WV, the beloved son of Randy and Vicky Frye. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Veronia Damron and Elba Frye and Marie Frye Trent.
Tim was a proud 1999 graduate of Logan High School. Tim lived life with his heart wide open and a deep devotion to those he loved. He was the kind of person who always showed up and offered a lending hand with a contagious smile that could light up a room. Tim loved spending time with his family, and he spent every moment creating memories with them. He was an avid sports fan and he loved going to any type of ballgame and helping run the chains for Logan High Football. He enjoyed traveling with his family, the beach, fishing, and riding four wheelers. He was a loving son who took great care of his mother and anytime Tim was out, he always had his loyal sidekick, Jake, right beside him. Tim had a great love for his family and was always there anytime you needed him. He enjoyed life and his family. His generous spirit, fun-loving nature, and deep love for others will be missed beyond words.
Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his mother and father, Vicky and Randy Frye of Rossmore, WV; brother, Bo (Jennifer) Frye of Wilkinson, WV, Tab (Tom) Frye of Cow Creek, WV; his cherished nieces and nephews, Kristyn (Dakota, Parker, Brynn) Varney of Chapmanville, WV, Madison and Carter Frye of Wilkinson, WV and Conor and Jake Chafin and Mason McKinney of Cow Creek, WV; uncles and aunts, Jay (Tammy) Frye of Chauncey, WV, Elb (Lil) Frye, Roger (Mary Lou) Damron of Rossmore, WV, John (Tammy) Damron of Napolean, OH, and Jack (Georgetta) of Napolean, OH, Peggy (Jimmy) Jones of Pratt, WV, Barbara (David) Cooper of Pratt, WV, and Andrew Stollings of Virginia; best friends, Jerry and Matt Mullins; and numerous of other family and friends who were blessed to know him.
Tim’s legacy is one of love, laughter, loyalty, and unforgettable hugs. He lived his life fully and left a mark on every heart he touched. He will be remembered with deep affection and missed every single day.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, August 1, 2025, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Curry Cemetery in Monaville, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
