Thurman Cline

Thurman Cline of Gilbert, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 08, 2015.  He was born August 18, 1924 at Isaban.  He was the son of the late Cornelius “Buddy” and Nora (Sullivan) Cline and Step-Mother Edith (Browning) Cline.  In addition to his parents he preceded in death by his five Sisters; Pearl Pole, Maxie Spaulding, Mila Bailey, Ada Allen , Dorothy Kirk and one (Baby) Brother; Franklin Cline.  He was a retired Coal Miner and a member of the Browning Fork House of Faith.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved reading his Bible.  Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 67 years, Theodosia Cline, his daughter Sheila (David) Sargent, his two Sons; Gerald (Barbara) Cline and Conrad (Mag) Cline.  His Grandchildren; Todd Browning, Tina (Mark) Blankenship, Kaitlyn Sargent, Jeremy (Kelcey) Cline, Justin (Erica) Cline, Lola Cline, Dwayne (Missy) Cline and Brittany (Evan) Murrell, one Sister; Rita (Robert) Stephens, one Brother; Timothy Cline and fourteen Great-Grandchildren. The family would like to give a “Special Thank” You to his special caregivers; Mary Morgan, Annetta Blankenship, Pam Cline, Dakota Browning and two Granddaughters; Tina Blankenship and Kaitlyn Sargent and Hospice CNA Katrina Morgan. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 11 2015 at the Freedom Full Gospel Church @ Hampden with Pastor Diamond Carter and Lowell Smith officiating.  Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens @ Godby.  Visitation will be the same day from 11 to 1:00 PM at the Church.  Pallbearers will be Mike Francis, Calvin Wiley, Mark Blankenship, Todd Browning, Jeremy Cline, and Justin Cline. Honorary Pallbearers will be Reed Adams, Clifford Cline, Donovan Browning, Nicholas Cline, Dwayne Cline, Garfield Hatfield, Ronald Hatfield and Dakota Browning.

Uncle Thurman was a wonderful man and it was always a pleasure to see and talk with him. We know he loved the Lord. Mom (Lahoma), Allen and I send our love and prayers.

Thurman was a friend of my Dad's ( Tommy Lee) from the time they were young men. They worked together at Ford in Detroit and used to travel back home together. Thurman was a fine man his entire life. We have always counted the family among our friends. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you.

Just want to say how sorry I am for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Uncle Thurman was a very nice man and I know he really loved the Lord. He is now safe with the Lord never to suffer again and has been reunited with a lot of our family that has went on before him. Love and Prayers Linda (Dorothy's daughter)
