Thelma Marie Howes

Thelma Marie (Dean) Howes 83, of Sarah Ann, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday October 24, 2016 in CAMC General Division Hospital in Charleston. She was born February 23, 1933 at Maysburg to the late Ora and Cathryn (Fraley) Dean.   She was a homemaker and a member of Sarah Ann Church of God and was a great prayer warrior for the Lord.  In addition to her parents three brothers and two sisters precede her in death.  Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband; James “Bill” Howes Jr. of Sarah Ann, two sons; George and James Howes III both of Sarah Ann, two sisters; Darlene McCoy of Indiana and Freda Smith of Sarah Ann, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that will dearly miss her.  Services will be Noon Friday, October 28, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Starr officiating.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be fro 6 to 9:00 P.M.  Thursday, October 27, 2016.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.   Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com/.
