Thelma Dotson

Thelma Dotson, 77 of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on February 28th, 1942 in Wharncliffe, WV and was the daughter of the late Miton and Kizzie (Hatfield) Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Ervin Dotson; two sisters, Judy French and Faye Morgan.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son, Michael Dotson of Mason County, WV; one daughter, Tina (Finny B.) Hensley of Wharncliffe, WV; two brothers, Gary Morrison of Wharncliffe and Mark (Shelia) Morrison of Wharncliffe, WV; one sister, Sandra (Gary) Bradford of Wharncliffe, WV; three grandchildren, Heather (PJ) McCloud of Cyclone, WV, Haylea (Cory) Murphy of Wharncliffe, WV, and Dustin Dotson of Huntington, WV; four great-grandchildren, Haven McCloud of Cyclone, WV, Ryker McCloud of Cyclone, WV, Kenton Collins of Wharncliffe, WV, and Kayden Murphy of Wharncliffe, WV; and a host of family and friends.

In honoring Thelma’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is honored to be serving the Dotson family with arrangements.
