Tabitha Lynn Meade-Chippent

Tabitha Lynn Meade-Chippent, 45 years old of Lyburn, WV departed this life on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Logan, WV. She was born on June 9, 1981, in Logan, WV and was the daughter of the late John Meade and Darlene (Marcum) Meade. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her child, Denver “Happy Jack” Perry; her husband, Clifford Chippent; uncle, Houston Marcum; cousin who was more like her nephew, Austin Marcum; and grandparents, Alfreda and John Marcum.

She was a beautiful soul who lit up every room she walked into. Yes, she struggled with addiction, but she also endured more pain and hardship than most could ever imagine. Through it all, she remained strong, a fighter, and someone who loved deeply. Her struggles never defined who she was or the love she had to give. She was so much more than her battles, and to those who knew and loved her. She was the best mamaw. Her light will never be forgotten.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her daughter, Hannah Abbott; grandsons, Colton Abbott and Matthew Dobbins-Browning; brother, John Meade; and a host of other family and friends who will all love and miss her.
