Shirley Clemens Messer

Shirley Clemens Messer, 88 of Holden, WV departed this life on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at her residence. She was born to the late Owen and Stacy (Ellis) Walker on October 7th, 1937 in Sharples, WV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Richard Thomas Clemens; four sons, Ricky Walker, Randolph “Randy” Clemens, Richie Clemens, and Arnie Clemens; one daughter, Shelia Maynard, and three brothers.

Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Stephen (Kitten) Clemens and Teddy Clemens; one daughter, Karen (George) Ward; one sister, Dottie Rodriguez; one son in law, William Pete Maynard; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
