Sandra "Sandy" June Ellis Colley

Sandra “Sandy” June Ellis Colley 72, of Omar, WV passed away peacefully at her home in Omar on Thursday morning, July 31st, 2025.

Sandy was born October 7th, 1952, in Logan, WV to Don. W. Ellis and Mercy V. Blankenship Ellis.

Sandy graduated from Logan High Class of 1970, she then went on to briefly work at Logan Regional Hospital and was an amazing stay at home mom and grandmother/great grandmother.

Remaining to cherish Sandy’s memory is her husband of 54 years, Gary (Dutch) Colley, 2 children, Larry (Shawn Farmer) (Heather) Colley and Jaime (Jimbo) Finley, sister Tammy (Greg) Ellis Adkins.

Sandy also has 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of who she so dearly loved - Jeffrey Colley, Michael Colley, Jenna Colley, Darren (Kristal) Finley, and Kaitlyn Finley (Hayden Adams). Jayce Adams, Rylee Adams, Mason Finley, Noah Finley and Lacey Finley and a host of nieces and nephews, Greg (Melinda) Ellis, Misty (JT) Ellis Williamson, Mardi (Amidon) Lupton, Greg (Carla) Ramey, Terry (Sandy) Ramey, Julie Ellis, William (Lil Bill) Ellis, Leslie Ellis, and John (JP) Ellis.

Preceding Sandy in death are her parents, Don Ellis and Mercy Ellis, brothers Larry Ellis and William (Bill) Ellis, sisters Lois (Tim) Conn, Evelyn (Bill) Ramey, Judy (Frank) Amidon of Goldsboro, NC., Donna (Don Jo) Bragg, Special son/friend Troy Day.
