Rozelyn Lynette Wilson

Rozelyn Lynette Wilson (age 57), born on July 26, 1963 in Man, West Virginia was called to glory on May 7, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her parents Benny and Ethel (nee: Foster) Wilson, daughter, Tasha (Wilson) Lester and brother, Larry Wilson.  Rozelyn is survived by her son, Donald Jemerison, Jr., brothers Bennie Wilson Jr., Gary Wilson (and longtime companion Melinda Lusk), Dana Wilson, and Roger (Tonie) Wilson; grandchildren Elijah Lester, Crisiah Lester, Melik Lester and Brooklynne Jemerison;  special niece Alysha Wilson and nephew Larry “Frog” Wilson, Jr.; son-in-law Phillip Lester, sister-in-law Melissa Wilson, and a host of additional family, including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Rozelyn graduated from Man High School in 1982 and worked as a home health aide.  She attended the Man Church of God and most recently the Crown Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Her family called her “Sissy”, “Aunt Roz” and “Granny”, others simply called her Roz; all who knew her called her friend.  She had a heart filled with kindness, loved animals (especially her many cats and dog Copper) and was dedicated to helping care for her developmentally disabled older brother Bennie and her beloved grandchildren.  She was an avid Facebook user whose many posts always acknowledged God and the many blessings He bestowed upon her. A home-going service to honor Rozelyn’s life will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Becco United Baptist Church under Pastor PJ Tomblin.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  The service will immediately follow, officiated by Elder Thomas Moore.  Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.  Collins Funeral Home in Switzer, WV is handling the arrangements.

We have several memerioes together
She used to always tell me that I was her second daughter. I was there for her when her daughter Tasha passed away where she needed someone to talk to or even a shoulder. She used to always tell me that God took one daughter and that he sent her another daughter . I called her mama. I will always love mama Forever and you will never be forgotten.
Love Always Candace
