Robert "Bobby" Farley

Robert “Bobby” Farley, 66 of Whitman, WV departed this life on Saturday, March 16^th, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. He was born on January 31^st, 1958, in Holden, WV and was the son of the late Diana Osbourne Farley. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by son, Jay Lowe; aunt, P-nut; and sister, Beth White.

He loved being a volunteer firefighter and was on the Cora Volunteer Fire Department “726”. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending quality time with his grandkids and family. In his last selfless act on earth, he was an organ and tissue donor.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his wife of thirty-three years, Temple (Hodges) Farley; two sons, Robert “BJ” (Ciera) Farley, Jr., and Jason (Mariah) Farley; grandchildren, Nova, Cayleb, Annah, Harper, Miley, and Jaylee; two sisters, Lura (Junior) Wentz and Debbie Midkiff; and a host of other family and friends who will all love and miss him.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 20^th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Vance and Rev. Pat Hutchinson officiating.

A visitation will begin two hours prior to the funeral service.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated after the services.

Pallbearers will include his two sons, BJ and Jason, and his firefighter brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
