Rita Jo May

Rita Jo May 63 of Wharncliffe departed this life Wednesday, September 23, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born August 26, 1952 in Welch, WV to the late Joe and Virginia (Moore) May. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents and grandparents she is preceded in death by one brother; Jerry Ray May. Those left to cherish her memories are one brother; Randall (Mitzi) May of Wharncliffe, three nieces; Heather (Bobby) Stotridge of Verdunville, Tanya(Adam) Grimmett and Randa (William) Bradford both of Wharncliffe, two great-nieces; Alexandria Grimmett and Kerissa Bradford, five great-nephews; Khoner Bradford, Tanner and Justin Grimmett and Jordan and Trevor Abbott, one great-great-nephew; Keaton Brown, one great-great-niece Andrea Grimmett, two special nieces; Rhonda and Katie Mullins and a special friend; Cory Brown. Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Grimmett and Denny May officiating. Burial will follow at Beach Fork Cemetery in Gay Hollow. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Adam, Tanner and Justin Grimmett, Cory Brown, William Bradford, Bobby Stotridge, Jordan and Trevor Abbott.
