Rev. Henry Allen Damron

Rev. Henry Allen Damron 60, of Chapmanville went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 06, 2017 in Logan Regional Medical Center.  He was born February 24, 1957 in Logan County to the son of the Late Henry and Dorothy (White) Damron. He was currently  the Pastor of the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church; he had also pastored various churches in the area; Whitman Freewill Baptist Church, McConnell Tabernacle, Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Trinity Freewill Baptist Church and Mount Zion Freewill Baptist Church in TN and  the President/Partner of Logan Plating Inc. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by one sister; Emma Damron Spence, father-in-law Lee Sipple, one niece Dorothy Blevins, and two Brothers’ in law Harold Clay and John Spence.  Those left to cherish all his memories are his loving wife of 38 years, Cynthia Ann (Sipple) Damron of Chapmanville, one son Austin (Tashena Adams) Damron of Chapmanville, one daughter; Tracie (Joe) Kirk of Danville, six sisters; Lois (Milton) Goldberg of Williamsburg, VA, Henrietta Clay of Monroe, NC, Betty Eisenhart of Huntington, WV, Beverly (Robert) Nemeth of Brunswick, OH, Donna (Sonny) Adams of Whitman and Kimberly Griffin, Myrtle Beach, SC,  Two grandsons that he loved dearly; Wade and Dawson Kirk and  his mother-in-law Deloris Sipple of Logan. A Celebration of Henry’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church with his special friend Rev. Walter Gore and Rev. Joseph Vance officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  Collins Funeral of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com./
