Rebecca Joan Robertson

Rebecca Joan Robertson 83 of Mansfield, OH formerly of McConnell departed this life Sunday November 16, 2014 in Mansfield. She was born December 24, 1930 in Branchland, WV to the late Maurice and Florence (Reeves) Chapman. She was a Homemaker, Retired Teachers Aide for Logan County Board Education, and a former member of the First Baptist Church of McConnell. Also preceding her in death are her husband; Paul Eugene Robertson, one sister; Maxine (Scott) Johnson, four brothers; Lan (Blanche) Chapman; John Ray (Eula) Chapman, Angus Earl Chapman, and Bruce Chapman, one brother-in-law; Robert Webster and one son-in-law; Ron Vance. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons; Rodney (Jodi) Robertson of Mansfield, OH, Robert (Elaine) Robertson of Bucyrus, OH, two daughters; Debbie (Ronald) Andrews of Mansfield, OH and Amy Robertson of McConnell, one sister; Barbara Jean Webster of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren; Ron (Tracy) Andrews of Mansfield, OH, Melissa Johnson of Bucyrus, OH, and Denise (Ed) Finley of Mansfield, OH, eight great-grandchildren; Maggie and Tara Andrews, Zaine and Zell Finley all of Mansfield, OH, Mason, McKenton, Madeline and Melanie Johnson all of Bucyrus, OH, special friends; Cathy Billups of Gilbert, Vickie Hibbs of Holden and Shelly Pavlansky of Mansfield, OH. Our family will also like to thank the nursing staff of Mifflin Care Center and the staff of Ashland Ohio Hospice for their care. Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer with Rev. John Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be the same day one hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
