Randell Maynard

 

Randell Maynard 70, of Pine Creek, departed this life Friday, October 07, 2016 at his residence.  He was born July 31, 1946 in Logan to the late Grady and Sarah (Balentine) Maynard.  He served in the United States Army, was a Member of the Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church, and was a Construction Worker for the UMWA and Steelworkers of America.  He loved to work and be on the Omar Little League Field and he had many special friends he enjoyed spending his time with.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife; Sharon (Simms) Maynard and five brothers.  Those left to cherish his memories are three sons; Matthew (Becky Ramey) Maynard of Chapmanville, Jason Maynard of Omar and Vinson Maynard of Omar, one daughter; Sherrie (Glen Caudill Jr.) Maynard of NC, three brothers; Clyde Maynard of OH, Doug Maynard of FL, Charles Spaulding of OH, one sister Joann Marcum of OH and seven grandchildren; Scott Edward of Omar, Savannah Maynard of Chapmanville, Sarah Morris of NC, Caleb Maynard of Chapmanville, Dalton Maynard of Huntington, Jayla Smith of Omar and Kendall Maynard of Madison.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 09, 2016 at the Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church at Omar with Pastor John Hatfield officiating.  Visitation will be two hours prior to service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends. In honor of Randell’s request he will be cremated after the service.  Collins Funeral Home of Switzer will be in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left @ www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com/

I grew up on pine creek with Randall and his brother's and sister The good lord above couldn't have put a better human being on this earth better than him Doug, Clyde, and Joann so sorry to hear this love you guys.

So sorry to hear about Randell's passing. I lived on Pine Creed (camp where church is) for several years and graduated from high school with Joann. May the Lord keep you all in his loving grace.
