Ralph Santos Jr.

Ralph Santos Jr. 75, of Omar departed this life January 28, 2016 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born August 18, 1940 to the late Rafael Santos Sr. and Delfina (Rios) Santos. He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Felipa Gutierrez Rios Gonzales, and Jose Rios, and one grand daughter Miley Rahanna Tolliver, and his paternal grand parents Eugenio Santos and Epifania Flores. Ralph was a retired coal miner and was a member of the Switzer Church of God. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Freda (Thompson) Santos (6) daughters Andrea Santos of Logan, Pam (Mark) Jobo of Omar, Lena (David) Hensley of South Carolina, Julianna Santos of Logan, Angelia (Norman) Kennedy of Chauncey and Felicia (Robert) Tolliver of Holden (1) sister Delfina “Chana” Dillon of Kermit, (11) grandchildren; Martina Jobo, Michael Hensley, Devonte Tolliver, Destiney Tolliver, Robert Tolliver II, Norman Kennedy, Ashten Hensley, Kendra Jobo, Trystan Kennedy, Karlee Tolliver, Tyse Kennedy. Services will be held February 2, 2016 at the Switzer Church of God with Pastor Harold McMillen Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Devonte Tolliver, Michael Hensley, Norman Kennedy, Mark Jobo, Robert Tolliver, and Arbie Dillon. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements. My dear Family,we are sending our deepest sympathy,& our love and prayers to each and everyone @ this time,We know that is Ralph is at a perfect peace & rest at this time & would not ever want to me back to this earth,He has been working for so many years to get to heavenly home,& to be in the presence of our loving Savior Jesus Christ,so as we all say our good-bye's its only for a little while,& it won't be all that long & we who are ready will join him,& all our loved one's who gone on before us,we must keep our faith in Jesus,just as Ralph did,& we will remember that God is good all the time.

Andrea Santos, my friend...A proud man he was of his family....Always...Your Dad>Ralph Santos was a wonderful n good friend to R entire family throughout his many years on this Earth of Rs.....I remember him as someone who was quiet n not someone to make a lot of conversation>>but listening to all the conversation!! Your Dad, Ralph Santos....was their with Us @ so many of R special family celebrations etc...throughout my families younger years....etc!! The good ole days as I refer to them!! I will now say your Dad (Ralph Santos) is now celebrating n rejoicing n his eternal HEAVENLY HOME....with all his "family n friends" who have gone before him!! HOW HAPPY HE IS NOW>>@ PEACE!!
