Patricia Gail "Patty" Dean

Patricia Gail “Patty” (Dingess) Dean, 68 of Logan, WV departed this life Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 at Select Speciality Hospital in Charleston, WV. She was born on January 8th, 1953 in Logan, WV to the late Neal Dingess Sr. and Mary Rose (Canterbury) Dingess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dean of forty years; one sister, Rose Dingess; and one brother, Neal Dingess Jr.

She was the owner at Dean’s Carpet for many years.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes one son, Joseph Dean of Justice Addition, WV; one daughter, Mary (Daniel) Varney of West Logan, WV; two brothers, Harry (Betty) Dingess of Godby Branch, WV and Tommy (Annette) Dingess of Comfort, WV; and one grandchild, Joseph Dean of West Logan, WV.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, July 23rd, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV. Pallbearers will include Steven Spears, Tommy Dingess, David Dean, Scotty Dingess, Rufus Dingess Jr., and Amber Dingess. Ezra Browning will be a honorary pallbearer.

A visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service.
