Guestbook

HI Al & Shari, Amanda, Elizabeth, Nicole, and Grace, (and Tammy)....I am so sorry for your loss. Al, your dad was a rock-solid man. He exemplified strength, kept you and Tammy in line (l-o-l), and guided himself and your family within moral guidelines and respect for others, and God. I do remember that he was strict (a good thing, if you consider how crazy the world is now!), but was he down-to-earth, good-natured. I can see him in you, so his presence will always remain within your family and those lucky to call you a neighbor and friend, as do I! One funny story I still tell to this date---Even though you always helped me with whatever I had going on, when kids, and when coming to knock and ask you 'out to play', I was directed back to your 'shop' and when asking you if you could come down to the playground, you answered, ' I have a job to complete by the end of summer....one million bolts!" Seeing what you had to do, pulling down that suspended arm in order to 'drill those bolts' was engraved in my poor memory, both as funny, AND as a character builder (from what I now know.) And it sure worked. (Other kids, myself included, had to deliver 18 newspapers, you had to drill a million bolts, and you liked it-a testament to the man you too, are!) You ARE quite a character, with character, as was your dad, both friends of mine. I hold you all dearly in my heart and memories, thoughts and prayers. Considering the man your dad was, please try to find comfort that he has been reunited with your mom (and his other loved ones) preparing & awaiting the rest of us in eternal happiness. Your Old Friend, John.

We are sorry to hear of Bucky's passing and he will forever be missed. He was a lifelong friend to our daddy Jim and late mother Hazel and we miss him being next door. He can now rest in peace with his beloved late wife Maggie and suffer no more. May the memories you have of both your parents be with you always in your hearts.
