Nora White

Nora White, 83, of Omar, WV, departed this life Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 15th, 1938, in Omar, WV to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Howard) Spence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Eugene and Carl Keith White; sister, Lois Abraham; infant sister, Helen; brothers, Joe Lee, Jeff, Jarvie, Meredith, and Thomas Spence; and grandson, Joseph Brent White.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her children, Jimmie Ray White of Cow Creek, WV, Rhonda Lynne (Shane) Blankenship of Louisiana, Lisa (Rick) Hensley of Dingess, WV, Shanna (Randy Clemens) Damron of Logan, WV; three sisters, Sally Smith, Mary Varney, and Judy Wessolek all of Brunswick, OH; grandchildren, Matthew Shawn Hinkle, Angela Beth Hinkle, Lucinda (Thomas) Elkins, Larissa Ann Copley, Michael Lee Young, Kimberly Dawn Young, Carlee Elizabeth White, Destani Raven Clemens, Trenedy Jade Clemens, Piper Isabella Clemens, and Phoenix Zane Clemens; great grandchildren, Brock Isaac Baisden, Braxton Kole Baisden, Bryson Colt Baisden, Conner Geralds, Breanna Vig, Arianna Hampton, Joshua “J.W.” Carson Jr, Skiland Marie Hardin, Harmony Leann Hardin, Mollionna Faith Hinkle, Adeline Nicole Hinkle, Abagail Grace Hinkle, Alaska Cambrie Mathis, one on the way; and daughter in law, Lana Sue White.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Abraham officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway United Methodist Cemetery in Chesapeake, OH. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, November 22nd, 2021, also at the funeral home.
