Naomi Ruth Mullins

Naomi Ruth (Sis) Mullins Surrounded by her family, Ruth entered the  gates of Heaven on July 22, 2016 at her home in Yuma at the age of 90.
Ruth,, lovingly called Sis by four brothers, church family and many who knew her, she  was born in Logan County to parents Bryan and Irene Vance at
Mona-Hill on August 4, 1925. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 12 and became a member of the Mona-Hill Freewill Baptist Church on August

enjoyed being a member of the visiting prayer group and Ladies Auxiliary at Mona-Hill FWB church. She especially loved the fellowship while quilting
weekly with her sisters in Christ. She was always ready to help with church  plays, dinners, parades, and to sing in the choir or at funerals.
Ruth graduated from Logan High School in 1944, and began working for the Rossmore Company Store then later retiring in 1988 from the United
States Postal Service at Monaville after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Irene Vance- one
brother, David Lee Vance- son, Larry David Mullins- husband, Harvey Mullins;  grandchildren Jamie Lynn Mullins and George Gregory Mullins II-and her great grandson David Anthony Allen.     Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers: Bill (Beulah) Vance of Whitman,  Donald (Inice) Vance of Wilkinson, Jack (Charlotte) Vance of
Warrenton, Va., and Danny (Jeannie) Vance of Wilkinson; two sons, John (Debra) Mullins of Wilkinson, George (Rebecca) Mullins of Monaville, and

Henry Damron and Rev. Joe Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the

It's been a few years since I last saw Ruth, but I truly loved her. She was ALWAYS nice to me. I had the pleasure of going to church with her at Monahill Freewill Baptized (old one). Ruth has finished her works here on earth for the Lord now she can have her rewards in heaven.
Sending my regards to the family. May God be with you all.
Lovingly, Mary Lou
