The staff at Collins Funeral Home is sad to announce the passing of Ms Eula Mae West 83 of Canton Lane, Logan Departed this life on Monday May the 18th at the Logan Regional Medical Center. Born April 1, 1932 in Reform, Alabama a daughter of the Late Johnny West and Susie Draper also preceded in death by her brother Vanderbilt West 2 Sisters Clemmie Lee Henderson and Buelah Mae West. Special Friends Willie West and Ernestine Coleman. Eula was a Graduate of the old Aracoma High School and did Domestic Works for the Ellis, Cook, Majors, Hairston and Duty Families and A Faithful Member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Logan where she served as Mother of the Church, Supported Women In Gods Service Group, Loved her Sunday School Teachings and former Choir Member. Ms Eula had Strong Family Values and believed in Raising the children right and making them Mind. Survivors include 2 sons Henry and Charles West both of Logan 2 Grandsons Calmece West and Andrae Horton and others she raised as grandchildren Timothy and Maurice Sidney, and Diana and Shantel Sidney, 9 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Logan with The Rev. James H Mosley JR. Officiating with Burial to follow at Guyan Memorial Gardens at Godby WV. Friends may call 1 Hour prior to Services at the Church Arrangements Entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Switzer.
