Melinda "Sissy" (Manuel) Bradford

Melinda “Sissy” (Manuel) Bradford, 60, of Baisden, WV went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from her residence where she resided with her loving husband of fifteen years, Winfred Bradford.

Melinda was born May 12th, 1966, at McDowell County, WV. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Magdeline (Ellis) Manuel and John Henry Manuel; and son in law, Kenneth Ferrell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Winfred Bradford; daughter, Bonnie Ferrell (Julian Cheek) of New Richmond, WV; stepson, Johnathan (Valerie) Bradford of Baisden, WV; grandchildren, Brandon, Hannah, Bradley Ferrell (Faith Dillon), Shayla (Dalton Harris) Cheyenne Bradford, and Haley Lester; great grandchildren, Jackson Ferrell, Little Lee, Grayson Harris, Hazlen Bradford; sister, Shelia (Tim) Collins of Baisden, WV; brother, John (Melissa) Manuel of Gilbert, WV; nieces, Cassie Collins, and Natalie Manuel; nephew, Johnathan Manuel of Gilbert, WV; and a host of special friends and family,

Melinda was of Christian faith for many years and loved to worship the Lord. She was a faithful member of The Lighthouse Church of God of Gilbert Creek. She will be remembered for her loving and funny nature; she never met a stranger and loved to spend time with family and friends; but mostly, with her husband riding their horses. She loved spending time with her animals, planting, and growing flowers.

In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and there are no services scheduled.
