Mary Elizabeth Frazier

Mary Elizabeth Frazier, 72, of Logan, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 1, 2020 following an extended illness. She was surrounded by loving family as she left this world.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Preston and Edna Frazier; sisters Patricia Padilla and Betty Zapata; the father of her children, Darrell E. Ellis.

Mary worked for many years as a home health worker. She relished spending time taking care of others. Above all Mary relished her family; particularly annual reunions in August when family would come from New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Utah to celebrate her birthday.

Left to mourn her passing are five adoring children: daughter Edna Estrathers of the home, son Clarence Frazier (Angela) of Lenoir, NC, daughter Louise King of West Logan, daughter Eileen Johnson of Logan, and son Wayne Ellis (Jennifer) of Lenoir, NC. She leaves behind grandchildren: Joshua Johnson, Justin King, Kirstin Ellis, Madison Lunsford, Megan King, Brady McCormick, Zack Ellis, Adam Frazier, Matthew Frazier and great-grandchildren Allison Lunsford, and Brody King as well as a cherished sister Terri Frazier of New Jersey and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Davita dialysis, Dr. Radha, LRMC Staff, and Elite Ambulance Service for many years of care, service, and friendship.

The family will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home of Switzer on Friday, September 4th, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm with a service performed by Pastor Elbert Johnson Jr.
