Mary Rose Dingess

Mary Rose (Canterbury) Dingess, 88 of West Logan, WV departed this life on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at her residence. She was born August 13th, 1932 in Mingo County, WV to the late Frank and Sally (Fannin) Canterbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Dingess Sr.; daughter, Rose Ann Dingess; and son-in-law, Joe Dean.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes, Neal and Karen Dingess of Rossmore, Harry and Betty Dingess of Chapmanville, Patty Dean of West Logan, and Tommy and Annette Dingess of Comfort; grandchildren, Charles and Lisa Stone, Lori and Lisa Miller, Robert and Angie Messer, Chad and Karen Dingess, Scotty and Kriston Dingess, Mary and Daniel Varney, Joey Dean, Amber and Andrew White; and ten great grandchildren who will all love and miss her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday October 24th, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Dingess and Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held a hour prior.

Collins Funeral Home of Switzer, WV is assisting the Dingess family with arrangements.
