Marvin Beecher Pennington

Marvin Beecher Pennington Jr. of Omar, WV passed away at his residence on March 9, 2018. He was born on January 28, 1955  to the late Marvin Beecher Pennington Sr. and Georgia Sizemore Pennington. He was a truck driver and of The Church of God Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; Jeremiah Pennington, one brother; Paul David Pennington. He is survived by one son; Jacob Michael Pennington of Logan, two daughters; Sylvia Ann (David) Blevins of Danville, Georgia Christine (Elijah) Treadway of Oak Hill. Three brothers; Stephen Dale Pennington and Joseph R Pennington both of Cow Creek and Daniel R Pennington of West Logan. Six sisters; Arzella Hatfield (Rainie) of Fellsmere, FL. Carol Nunley of Cow Creek, Kathy Dickinson of Ocoee, FL., Patty Seavey and Marie Fraher (Mike) both of Tallahassee Fl., and Norma Coalter of Martin, Tenn. 10 grandkids; and 2 Great Grandkids. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Steven Wyke officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at The Farley Cemetery at Cow Creek. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is overseeing the arrangements.
