Mark Anthony Ellis Evans “Bugman”, 29 of Whitman, WV went to be with the Lord on August 14th, 2020 at home in Whitman.

Mark was born on January 9th, 1991 at Logan General Hospital in Logan, WV to David and Wanda Ellis. He met his spouse in the summer of 2008 and was married June 21st, 2019 to Michael Evans. Mark grew up as a child in Ethel, WV and in Harts Creek, WV. He attended Logan High School. Mark has a loving spirit, he loved spending time with his family and friends and taking pictures on Facebook. He had a huge personality and loved everyone he met always had a smile and words of encouragement. He was our social butterfly.

Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude and Helen Frye; paternal grandparents, John and Betty Ellis.

Those left to cherish the memory of Mark includes his husband, Michael Evans of Whitman, WV; his parents, David and Wanda Ellis of Whitman, WV; two sisters, Misty (Chris) Meeks of Harts, WV and Wyndee Frye of Whitman, WV; two brothers, David Grace Ellis II of Holden, WV and James Duke Frye of Holden,WV; six nephews, Caleb (Havanna) Ellis, Gavin Frye, David Trav Ellis, Max Cline, Aiden Podunavac, Jake Ellis, and Keegan Cook; five nieces, Jaala Caleb Price, Shelby Cline, Shala Frye, Michayla Frye, and Alena Ellis; one special cousin who he spent a lot of time with Khrista Frye and one special friend, Katie Keeny and her children whom Marked loved; Luvante, Brock, and Brody; and a large host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will always remember Mark.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Mark and will be posted on Facebook when this service will be held.

I'll never forget you Mark. When I sern or talked to you it made my day. You were always sweet and encouraging. When I was down you lifted me up. I wish we could have spent more time together. Your smile and attitude was the most beautiful thing about you. You had a huge heart. Made me laugh when I was having a bad day. Me and Billy will miss you sweet heart along with many others. We love you and will miss you honey. R.I.P. Mark we'll cherish the memories forever!
