Lori Elizabeth Tinder, 61 of Holden, WV departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 17, 1962, in Dearborn, MI and was the daughter of the late Charles Ronald Tinder, II., and Delphia Anne (Staten) Tinder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David Lee May, Charles Ronald Tinder, III., and Randall Craig Tinder, and nephew, Benjamin Charles Tinder.
Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her son, Jack Creed Chrislip, II.; daughter, Randi Michelle Wilson (Russell); stepdaughter, Jacqulyn Danielle Lucas (Josh); brother, Jerry Lee Mayhorter (Carol); sister, Lisa Anne Tinder; step-granddaughter, Darah Janae Chrislip (Dakota); nephews, Steven, Cory, Chip, Adam, and Luke; nieces, Wendi, Marci, Kristy, and Caryn; close family friend, Julie; two boys whom she considered to be her own, Ashton Adkins and Cornelius Murphy, Jr.; and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2024, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
