Karen Rose Russell Skidmore

Karen Rose Russell Skidmore, 62 of Stollings passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1955 at Logan to the late Robert and Wilda Jeffery. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her stepmother, Alberta (Birdy) Jeffery; one aunt, Kathrin Ball. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Curtis (Lisa) Ball III of Logan, Michael Russell of Stollings, Charles Jacobs; two daughters, Wilda (Scott) Pack of Logan an...d Genny (Jason) Sheppard of Chapmanville; her lifetime companion and best friend, Priscilla Frye; three sisters, Linda (Terry) Mills of SC, Carolyn (Johnny) Marcum of Cora, and Tina Hatfield of Logan; four brothers, Robert (Melody) Jeffery of Chapmanville, Jerry Jeffery of IN, Gary (Ronda) Jeffery of IN, and Larry (Mary) Jeffery of OH; eleven grandchildren, Jeremiah (Whitney) Pack, Elizabeth Pack, Haley Adkins, Emily Adkins, Jason Sheppard Jr., Nicholas Dingess, Ronnie Frye, Zachary Ball, Karen (Roro) Ball, Hannah Ball, and Michael “Mikey” Russell; two great grandchildren, Bentley and Gregory Pack; special friend, Patricia “Pat” Cloud. Service will be held at Collins Funeral Home Chapel Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00AM with Pastor Rick Adkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00PM-9:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family has requested that the people make donations instead of sending flowers.
