Johnny Lee Vance, 75, of Omar, West Virginia, passed away on January 31, 2024, in Beckley. He was born on September 30, 1948. Johnny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
 
 Johnny had a passion for reading and studying his Bible. He found solace in fishing and cherished spending time with his loved ones, often engaging in long conversations over the phone. His big personality and kind heart touched the lives of many.
 
 Johnny is survived by his children: Johnny Vance Jr, Natasha (Leonard) Adkins, Shannon Vance, and Lisa Walls. Also 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
 
 He is also survived by his sister, Helen McGarvey, sister Christina Samson, brother Bill (Margaret) Vance, brother Jimmy (Kim) Vance, brother Rick Vance and a host of nieces and nephews.
 
 He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Sarah (Dempsey) Vance, sister Linda Short, sister Phyllis (Roger) Elswick, sister Betty Whitman, brother Homer (Alisha) Vance Jr., and son Jamie Vance.
 
 Throughout his career, Johnny worked in roofing and exterminating for many years, showcasing his dedication and strong work ethic. He took pride in his profession and was well-respected by his colleagues.
 
 Johnny worshipped at the Micco House of Prayer, where he found spiritual guidance and support. Alongside his two special lifelong friends, Eddie & Rosa. His faith was an integral part of his life.
 
 In his free time, Johnny enjoyed fishing and reading his Bible. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature and his spiritual beliefs.
 
 A celebration of life for Johnny Vance will take place at a later date.

Johnny Lee Vance will be remembered for his kind heart, love for his family, and dedication to his faith and work. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. May he rest in peace.
