Johnny David Johnson Jr.

Johnny David Johnson Jr., 51 of Logan, WV departed this life on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020. He was born on February 18th, 1969 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Johnny David Johnson and Carmel Jean Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Noel Keith and Ella (Hughes) Keith, and Clyde and Ecie (Carroll) Johnson Sr.; and one nephew, Trent Duncan.

He was a LPN where he graduated from Ralph R. Willis. He loved playing and watching sports. Anytime there was a West Virginia or UK game, you could bet he was watching and cheering on his teams.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his daughter, Gabrielle Buruato; two sisters, Angela (Patrick) Reese and Kellie (Allie) Smaidi; nephew, Tres (Danielle) Duncan; niece, Aylah Duncan; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday October 2nd, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a service starting at 7:00 pm with Pastor Cab Wolford officiating.

I am so sorry for your loss I had just talked to him like the day before at town & country in Chapmanville he had gotten paid and he had checked out and he went outside few mins later he came back in and I said Johnny you forget something he said I have lost a envolpe and it had 2200.00 in it I said Ill help you look while we was looking the cashier found it under the bag holder at the checkout counter me & him talked and I told him I was so glad that it was returned to him he said yeah its been a couple months since I have gotten one and I needed it so my heart goes out to the whole family my heart is broken for you all sending taughts & prayers .

It is with a broken heart that I have heard of the passing of Johnny. He was such a good man and I will miss him. Prayers go out to the family.
