John David Jackson

John David Jackson, 44 of Ragland, WV departed this life on May 16, 2020. He was born on August 24, 1975, in South Williamson, KY and was the son of George Jackson, Sr. and the late Agnes (Lingerfelt) Jackson.

In addition to his mother, he was proceded in death by his sister, Sherry Jackson; two brothers, Roger and Bobby Jo Jackson; grandparents, Jim L. and Irene Jackson and Thomas and Minnie Pearl Lingerfelt.

John was a devoted Christian and member at Rockhouse Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his father, George Jackson, Sr.; four brothers, George Jackson, Jr., Neal Jackson, Thomas Jackson, and Ronnie (Sandra) Jackson; three sisters, Sarah Jackson, Debrah Jackson, and Melanie (Mark) Gottlibe; special friends, and Holbert “Bertman” Staten and Pastor Scott Erwin.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Jackson Cemetery in Ragland, WV with Pastor Scott Erwin officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
