Jimmy Ronald Ernest

Jimmy Ronald Ernest, 64 of Princeton, WV departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. He was born on October 12, 1961, in Virginia and was the son of the late Dwayne “Cotton” Ernest, Sr. and Vera Mae (Belcher) Ernest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Allen Ernest and brother, Richard Ernest, Sr.

He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time outdoors. He loved rabbit hunting and fishing alongside his brother, Dwayne.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his two sons, Jason (Latasha) Ernest and Eric Ernest; one brother, Dwayne Ernest, Jr.; the love of his life, Debbie; grandchildren, Annabelle, Santanna, Skyler, Noah, and LaDayna; and a host of other family and friends.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated.
