In Loving Memory of James Edward “Jimmy” Neace

May 22, 1948 – October 23, 2026

James Edward Neace, lovingly known as “Jimmy,” passed away on October 23, 2026, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish his memory and the love he brought into their lives.

Jimmy was a loving, kind soul who had a special way of bringing happiness to those around him. He loved being surrounded by his family and especially enjoyed making them laugh. Seeing others happy brought joy to his own heart, and he always wanted the people around him to feel loved. His gentle spirit and the happiness he shared with others made him a special part of the lives of so many.

Jimmy found his greatest joys in the simple things in life. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Whether gathering with loved ones or enjoying the outdoors, these were the moments that meant the most to him. His family was a tremendous part of his life, and the time he spent with them created memories that will be treasured forever.

He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Taunya (Scotty) Hager and Michele (Chris) Conley; his cherished grandchildren, Zac (Amelia) Conley, Dustin Doss, Nicholas McNeely, Kaleb McNeely, Cameron Hager, and Austin Nicholas; and his precious great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Conley, Miley Jeffery, Annah Farley, Weston Sparks, Jaylee Jeffery, Everly McNeely, and Maia Justice.

He is also survived by his beloved siblings, Steven (Nettie) Neace, Wayne Neace, Daniel Joe Neace, Angie (Randy) Hellyer, Diana Adams, Naomi (Marshall) Pennington, and Rhonda Adkins, along with his many adored nieces and nephews and extended family members who will continue to hold him close in their hearts.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Dolly Mae Chapman; his parents, James and Charlotte McDowell Neace; and his siblings, Edee Justice, Donny Ray Neace, and Robert Dale Neace.

Though Jimmy's passing leaves a space that can never truly be filled, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on through the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him. His life reminds us that the greatest blessings are often found in life's simplest moments, time spent together, and in the love of family.

Jimmy will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him. Though he may no longer be here to make those around him laugh, the smiles he brought to so many faces will never be forgotten. His legacy of kindness, love, and joy will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all those whose lives he touched.
