James Michael Mullins

James Michael Mullins, better known as Jim, age 43, of Rossmore, WV, passed away unexpectedly in his home on June 23, 2025. Born on January 6, 1982, to Jerry Mullins and the late Polly Wilburn Mullins.

Jim will be remembered as a kind and generous soul who would do anything for anybody and did so when he was capable. Jim was always dedicated to his family, a dedication he especially enjoyed when they were still here, but he always showed love and kindness to the family that remained.

Left to honor his memory includes his dad, Jerry Mullins; brother, Matthew “Scotty” Mullins; his loving fur baby, Hopper; longtime girlfriend, Nikki Samuels; great aunt, Sadie Booth; uncles, Ricky (Debbie) Wilburn, John (Regina) Mullins, and Andrew (Judy) Mullins; and very special friends, Rev. Seth Curnutte, Julie Wells, Peyton, and Timmy Frye. He also leaves behind too many cousins, second cousins, third cousins, and friends to count and name.

Jim was preceded in death by his grandmas, Viola Booth Wilburn and Rosa Mullins. Also, preceding him in death were the aunts who raised him as their own since he was a young boy, Mara, Frances, and Stella Wilburn; along with his mamaw, Viola; and a host of many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who have gone on before him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date that is undecided at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover Jim's cremation expenses and any outstanding debts. Contributions can be sent to Matthew Mullins at 799 Armory Rd., Logan, WV 25601.
