James Homer Keith

James “Homer” Keith, 78 of Eubank, KY, departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at his residence. He was born on October 27, 1947, was the son of the late Noel Keith and Ella B. (Hughes) Keith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Timmy Keith; brother, Charles Keith; and sister, Carmel Johnson.

He was of the Church of God faith and was a retired coal miner.

Those left to love and cherish his memory includes his loving wife, Cheryl Keith; daughters, Tabatha Baker of Eubank, KY, Kim (Randall) Marcum of Switzer, WV, Jamie (Darrell) Browning of Dempsey Branch, WV; brother, Michael (Rosetta) Keith of Eubank, KY; sisters, Charlene Creakman of Chapmanville, WV, and Brenda (Walkie) Denninson of Sutton, WV; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor CD Wolford officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV.

A visitation will begin two hours prior to the funeral service starting at 12:00 pm.
