James Edward Gibson

James Edward Gibson, 73 of Logan, WV departed this life Monday, June 22nd, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born July 11th, 1946 in Kistler, WV and was the son of the late James Gibson and Florence (Hager) Gibson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Darlene (Marcum) Gibson; and two sisters, Mary Williamson and Violet Jude.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes two sons, James (Jessica) Gibson of Logan, WV and Brian (Caroline) Gibson of Columbus, OH; two daughters, Sunshine (Chris) Beseler of Logan, WV and Angie Summers; three grandchildren, Nathan Gibson, Jacob Gibson, and Kaylee Fink; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at Upper Varney Branch.

Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV is assisting the Gibson family with arrangements.
