Ida Marie Hardin, 91, of Stirrat, WV, died at home on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born on October 22, 1930, to the late Robert and Eliza Gannon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hardin, and siblings Robert Jr., Donnie, Golden, Jennings, Martha, Eugene, Madaline, Glenn, Aldon, Carl, Marvella, Mary Lou, and Dexter.

 

She was a homemaker, a member of Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church, and Past Worthy Matron and a member of Logan Chapter No. 60 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

 

Survivors include children Pam Bennett, Greensboro, NC, Alan Hardin (Angie), Johnson City, TN, Doris, Stirrat, WV, Joe Jr., Huntington WV, granddaughter Nikki Lomonof (Kevin), US Army, Germany, grandson, Bo (Angie), Greer, SC, and sister Lilly Ruth Sisco, Williamson, WV.

 

The funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 18th, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel at Switzer, WV with Rev. Bruce Reed officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

 

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV.
