Harold Raymond Hobbs

Harold Raymond Hobbs, 79, of Switzer, WV departed this life Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division.  He was born on August 18th, 1942, in Logan, WV to the late Monroe and Mae (Hall) Hobbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Hobbs.

 

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes one son, Harold Raymond Hobbs Jr. of Switzer, WV; one brother, Roger Hobbs Sr. of Switzer, WV; one nephew, Roger Hobbs Jr. of Switzer, WV; two nieces, April Curry, and Felica Hicks; grandchildren, Hayden Hobbs, Patrick Callaway Jr., and Brianna Ortiz; and his dog, Little Bit.

 

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Denny Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will include Mike McNeely, Danny Miller, Tyler Hobbs, Harold Raymond Hobbs Jr., Roger Hobbs Jr., Randall Marcum, and Mark Horn.

 

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, May 30th, 2022, also at the funeral home chapel.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made towards the funeral costs.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home Inc. of Switzer, WV.
