George Randall "Cotton" Baxter

George “Cotton” Randall Baxter, 58 of Switzer, WV passed away Thursday, April 16th, 2020 after battling with cancer. He was preceded in death by his step father, Columbus Meade; sister, Christine Hodges; his uncles, Terry and Joe Hodges; and his nephew, Phillip Ward Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Jackie) Baxter; mother, Linda Meade; father, George Baxter; daughter, Celena (Tim) Baxter; son, Phillip (Jamie) Dingess; his grandchildren, KayDa Burns, Jayson and Ryen Rocque; his sisters, Dreama (Fred) Williams, Tammy (Steven) Fields, Sherrie Baxter, Jamie Meade; his brothers, Paul and Michael Meade; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Cotton was well known to lots of people. He will greatly loved and cared about. He will deeply be missed. He enjoyed four wheeling, working on stuff, and taking care of the ones he loved.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel.

Due to the CDC and West Virginia’s recent mandate on public gatherings relating to COVID-19 pandemic, we will keep it to 10 or less visitors at a time in the funeral home so please plan your visit accordingly.
