Gaynell May 80 of Huntington, WV formerly of Stirrat departed this life Thursday November 06, 2014 in Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington.  She was born in

Mingo County June 05, 1934, to the late Harve and Zola Mae (DeHart) Sargent.  She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.  Those also preceding her in death are one Son; Randall May, five brothers; Ervin, Jim Clyde, Delbert, and Harvey Sargent and one Great-Granddaughter; Cheyenne Butler.  She is survived by her spouse John H. May of Huntington, two Sons; John Michael “Mike” (Christy) May of Crum and Roger (Sherry) May of Omar, one Daughter; Hope (James) Moody of Huntington, one Brother; Dana Sargent of KY, and five Sisters; Mildred “Millie” Collins of IN, Ellen (David) Rice of MI, Janet (Joe) Long of NC, Pattye (David) Stevens of MI, and Rita White-Voivedich of SC, six Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday November 09, 2014 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel in Switzer with Rev. John Godby officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be the same day two hours prior starting at 12:00 PM.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Collins funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.  Condolences may be left at www.collinsfuneralhomewv.com
