Freeland Roy "Cookie" Browning Jr.

Freeland Roy Browning “Cookie” Jr. of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Pikeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1974 to Roy Browning and Joyce (Gibson) Browning in Man, WV. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Freeland and Ruth Gibson and his paternal grandparents: Callie Browning.

Those left to cherish his loving memory includes his mother: Joyce (Gibson) Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; one son: Zachary Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; one daughter: Destiny Page Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; the mother to his children: Misty Kerley; one brother: Carl “Bo” Browning of Wharncliffe, WV; one sister: Ruthann Browning of Gilbert, WV; niece: Kayla Goad of Gilbert, WV; great-nephew: Bentlee Goad of Gilbert, WV and host of family and friends who will all love and miss him tremendously.

 A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Wharncliffe Church of God from 6:00-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rick Endicott and Pastor Danny Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Collins Funeral Home Inc. for the funeral expenses.
