Franklin ‘Frank” D. Crum 78, of Cow Creek, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 06, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 04, 1938 at Ethel. He is the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Withrow) Crum. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter; Ardith “Cookie” Crum, one son; Franklin Roy Crum, one brother; Steve Crum, grandparents; Mose and Lizzie Withrow and Benjamin and Hessie Crum. Frank worked as a service miner and loved bluegrass gospel music. Those left to cherish his memories include his beloved wife of 50 years; Barbara (Perry) Crum, four children; Elvin Crum of Cow Creek, Causetta Smith of Verdunville, John (Melinda) Crum of Jeffrey and Missy (Timmy) May of Cow Creek, five grandchildren; Amber (Casey) Adams, Samantha May, Jackie Smith, Katie (Timmy) Casto and Derek Smith, seven great-grandchildren; Blake Adams, Tyson Casto, Harper Adams, Cruz Clemons, Brantley Casto, Lilly Adams and Curbin Casto. Frank was blessed with many special friends including; Cecil Williams, Melvin (BB) Cook, and JR Adkins. Services will be held 2: P.M. Saturday, April 09, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with, Pastor C.D. Wolford and Pastor Mike Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be one hour prior at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
