Elmo Stacy Curry Sr.

Elmo Stacy Curry, SR., age 88 of Johnstown, OH, passed Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Elmo was a Korean War Veteran. Prior to retiring from the Kroger Company he worked for the United Mine Company for 20 years. He was an avid gardener and nature lover. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Curry, two sons;  Elmo (Peggy) Stacy II, Gregory “Mike” (Linda) Curry; seven grandchildren; Elmo Stacy “Chip” Curry III, Michelle Bell (Dennis) Claud “Sonny” Brown Jr., Kristina (Michael) Woods, Amanda (Ryan) O’Rear, Aaron (Maurica) Curry, Val Kibler, Justin (Cassie) Kibler; One sister; Marry J. Curry, and Fourteen great-grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur K. Curry, Mother Lousia Curry and his brother Kelly Curry. A funeral service will be Monday, February 19, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Casey officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior with a burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is overseeing the arrangements.
