Dorothy Mae Neace

Dorothy Neace 83, was carried by Angels to her Heavenly Home to be with her Lord and Savior, on the late night of Sept. 1st 2019.

She was born October 7th, 1935 to the late Bill and Annie Ellis of Logan WV, and was very open and honest of her deeply rooted Christian faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Marty George of Logan.

A homemaker, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking as a hobby, and time with her family.  For the past few years she was cared for daily by her children and grandchildren that resided closeby whom she is survived by: Daughters, Ramona George of Switzer WV, Patricia Hall of Verdunville WV, and Son, Gary Blevins also of Switzer WV; sister, Shannon Vance of Morgantown, WV. Grandchildren, Kevin Lee George of Switzer WV, Jason Browning of Logan WV, Johnny Vance of Logan WV, Gary Donald Blevins of N. Manchester IN, Anna Dawn Blevins also of N. Manchester IN, and Natasha (Leonard) Adkins of Marysville OH; great grandchildren, Chris (Lacey) Vance of North Lewisburg, OH, Harley and Courtney Adkins both of Marysville, OH, Brianna Cooper of Henlawson, Skylar and Greenlee Vance both of Henlawson, Matthew Mayse of Morgantown; great-great grandchildren, Olivia and Aaron Vance both of Ohio, Jazzlynn, Paisley, and Bentley Cooper all of Henlawson. Also left to cherish her memory are a host of nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends who she treated as her own flesh and blood, and all who knew her called her "Mamaw Dorothy"

Mrs. Neace requested upon her passing to be cremated, a small reception for family and close friends was held at the Switzer Church of God on Thursday September 12th and a family/friends/and public celebration of her life will be held at a date and location to be announced.

The family asks in leiu of flowers or decorative items, donations be made by contacting Collins Funeral Home in Switzer WV or by calling Ramona George at 304-946-2932.
