Dixie Evon Ingles, 73, of Browning Fork, WV departed this life on Friday, August 8th, 2025 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. She was born on November 10th, 1951, in Hampden, WV and was the daughter of the late Chester L. Ingles and Mamie (Grimmett) Ingles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen (Charlie) Blankenship; sister-in-law, Pat Ingles; niece, Deanna Joy Heineman; nephew, James Baisden, and her beloved pet, Bandit.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her sister, Randa (Vernon) Baisden of Hampden, WV; three brothers, Clarence “Sonny” (Karen) Ingles of Florida, Paul D. Ingles of Huntington, WV, and Walter (Lois) Ingles of South Carolina; nieces and nephews whom she loved and raised as if they were her own, Jack (Amy) Ingles, Mark (Michelle) Ingles, Paul (Lu Ann) Ingles, Rich (Kim) Heineman, Mikie (Candi) Heineman, Jamie (Jessica) Reagan, Jeremy (Nikki) Ingles, Leigh Ann (Curt) Bolock, and Veronica (PJ) Lawrence; great nieces and nephews who she adored, Sandra, Maddie, Killen, Hannah, Adam, Gavin, Heidi, Ashlyn, Connor, Alex, Courtney, Miranda, Silas, Brayden, Bracie, BB, Branstyn, Wyatt, Caleb, Torri, and Landry Evonne; and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her neighbors, Gary and Linda Sloan and Punk and Michelle Bailey and their granddaughter, Jewlia who was always checked in on her and visited her.

In honoring her wishes, she has been cremated and the family will have a private graveside service at a later date.

She will be greatly missed by everyone who was privileged enough to receive love from her golden heart.

Ecclesiastes 12:7- “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.”
