Dixie Faye (Collins) Dingess 75 years old of Logan, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 17, 2026, at her residence. She was born on October 14, 1950, in Williamson, WV and was the daughter of the late Johnny Collins and Lily (Varney) Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jo Moore and Ruby Savage; and brother, Eddie Collins.

She was a faithful member of the Micco Jesus Church in Micco, WV.

Those left to cherish her loving memory includes her loving husband of fifty one years, Bill Dingess; son, William Keith (Kristy) Dingess of Grove City, OH; grandchild, Gwendolyn Sophia Dingess; brothers, Donald (Eula) Collins of Dans Branch and Floyd Collins of Dans Branch; sisters, Shirley (Lawrence) Muncy of Columbus, OH, Sandra Collins of Logan, WV, and Phyllis Muncy of Logan, WV; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will all love and miss her.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Micco Jesus Church in Micco, WV with Pastor Jim Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Cemetery in Dans Branch. Pallbearers will include family and friends.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service starting at 12:00 pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
