Deloris (Abbott) Sipple
Deloris Ann (Abbott) Sipple of Logan, formally of Dehue and McConnell, joined her late husband, Lee Sipple in eternal rest on May 24, 2023. Deloris was one of a kind. She was a strong willed, independent soul, and a dedicated mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Irene Abbott of Dehue; her spouse, Lee Sipple; daughter, Teresa Sipple Miller; Teresa’s spouse William O. (Toby) Miller of Moultrie, GA and her son in law, Rev. Henry Damron of Chapmanville.
She is survived by one brother, Sam Abbott Jr. (Diane) of Monaville; her three daughters, Cindy Sipple Damron (Rocky Earney) of Little River, SC, Karen Sipple (Michael) Yost of Verdunville, Rachel Sipple (Vernon Jr.) Dingess of Chapmanville; honorary daughter, Lynn (Carlton) Ellis of Chapmanville; six grandchildren, Tracie Damron (Joe) Kirk of Danville, Austin (Tashena) Damron of Chapmanville, Brenton Miller of Moultrie, GA, Ashley Miller (Justin) Rogers of Moultrie, GA, Brittany Vance (Cedric Harmon) of Fredrick, MD, Jeffrey Cline (Shana Dameron) of Verdunville, Karrington Cline of Verdunville, and Tyler (Codi) Sipple of Logan; step grandson, Fredrick Dingess; and fourteen great grandchildren. Deloris also shared a special bond with her lifelong friend of over fifty years, Rita Mae Cantrell of Logan. Also, her special friend and hairdresser, George Cook of Chapmanville, and her favorite grand dog, Gator.
Pallbearers will include Tyler Sipple, Jeffrey Cline, Austin Damron, Michael Yost, Fredrick Dingess, and Justin Collins. Honorary pallbearers will include Vernon Dingess, Jr., Carlton Ellis, and George Cook.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
