Deanna Ruth Evans

Deanna Ruth (Varney) Evans, 61 of Switzer, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 22, 1956 to the late Dorcas Varney and Anise Varney (McNeely). She was recently baptized and born again. In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband; Clarence “Happy” Evans, one brother; John Varney and one daughter; DeeDee Samuels. Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter; Danyalle Nichole Samuels of Switzer, one grandson; Austin Zane Gray, sister-in-law; Geraldine (Darrell) Campbell of Whitman, and a best friend forever; Rita (Butch) Stacy of Kistler, two special aunts; Margaret McNeely, and Janice Staggs, three special cousins; Jerry McNeely, Jim McNeely, and Ralph Fleming, and a host of family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Morris and Rev. Tommy Cline officiating. Per her wishes, her remains will be cremated after the service.
