Danny Dale Evans

Danny Dale Evans departed this life on Thursday, November 19th, 2020 at CAMC Memorial. He was born on January 7th, 1954 to the late Earnest and Maudie Evans. Danny was a retired groundman/electrician at IBEW Local 317 and was a member of Piney Community Church. He had many hobbies, such as hunting and fishing, but making pancakes with his grandkids and spending time with his family was his favorite. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Renee Adkins; two brothers, David Evans, William Evans; and one grandchild, Tracy Evans. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Minnie Evans, whom he never failed to tell he loved her every single time he went somewhere; four sons, Sherman Evans, Travis (Melinda) Evans, Danny (Christa) Evans II, Michael Evans; one brother, Dennie Evans; two sisters, Lola Sargent, Judy Adams; 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many others who considered Danny as their papaw; one very special friend, Russell Gore. A service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1:00P.M. at Piney Community Church with Rev. Manasses Hensley. A visitation will be held one-hour prior. Burial will follow at Kirk Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Collins Funeral Home of Switzer, WV is assisting the family with arrangements.
