Danny Clinton Castle

Danny Clinton Castle, 79 of Micco went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 19, 2018 at Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville. He was born on November 18, 1938 at Pine Creek, WV to the late Alvin and Gladys Marie (Helvy) Castle. He was a member of Hillcrest Freewill Baptist Chapel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; James B. Castle and Ira Castle, two sisters; Judith Slade and Cathrine Lyons and one infant son; Paul Clinton Castle. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; Effie Marie (Thompson) Castle, one son; Danny (Maranda Bryant) Clinton Castle II of West Logan, three brothers; Oral Gene (Nadine) Castle of Switzer, Ronnie (Joan) Castle of Rockport, NY, and Gary (Becky) Castle of SC, and four grandchildren; Johnathan Castle Blevins of TN, Danielle Castle Blevins of TN, Mary Ann Sheppard of Dingess and Benji Marie Castle of West Logan. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Hillcrest Freewill Baptist Chapel with Rev. Scott Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2018 also at the church. Burial will follow in Chauncey Cemetery. Pallbearers will include brothers of the church.
