Dale Blankenship

Dale Blankenship, 52 of Omar, WV departed this life on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at his residence. He was born on March 9^th, 1972, in Cleveland, OH and was the son of the late Donald and Belvie (Day) Blankenship.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Blankenship. 

Those left to cherish his memories includes two brothers, Donald Blankenship Jr., Dennis Ray (Lynn) Blankenship; one sister, JoAnn Webb (Terry Bumgarner); four special friends, Ronnie Blankenship, Jazz Pelky, Alma Cook, and Dee Dee Moss. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Matt and Jodi Carter. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 29th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Matt Carter officiating. 

A visitation will begin two hours prior to the funeral service.

Burial will be held at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV (P.O. Box 307 Switzer, WV 25647 / 304-946-2212) to help cover the funeral expenses.
